EEG AI-Media Caption Encoder - New Features Added!
We’re excited to announce two new features to our fleet of EEG AI-Media HD492 Caption Pro Encoders.
SCTE-104 Trigger Insertion: this module add-on inserts SCTE-104 triggers onto the SDI Embedded signal, which is then fed into your Web Encoder and converted to SCTE-35 triggers, enabling smooth ad breaks during a live broadcast. This is popular for YouTube livestreams and other platforms which allow for integrated ad-servers.
Producers have two convenient options to trigger the ad breaks:
Web GUI – A simple click through the intuitive interface.
Physical Button – Easily connected to the GPIO panel on the back of the encoder. We can provide you with a physical button
What's particularly exciting is that the EEG Caption Encoder is now not only serving its primary function of captioning but also doubling as an SCTE-104 trigger.
CCMatch™ Zero Delay Caption Syncing: this module add-on produces a perfectly synchronized caption output by providing advanced audio to the captioner and introducing an internal audio/video delay that is customizable.
The output program video will be delayed with respect to the input program video by the length of time configured to allow your captioner to hear the audio and return captions. So instead of captions appearing behind by 2-4 seconds, they will be perfectly in sync with the video program.
