The Young Turks On Fusion TV

Make Fresh Productions and BC Live Productions have teamed up with The Young Turks and Fusion TV to produce a one-hour live television show, Monday nights at 8PM EST. What sets this live show apart from most is that each episode takes place at a different university around the country. Starting at USC, we have made our way to George Washington University, University of Michigan, John Jay College, and others to find ourselves halfway through the twelve-week tour.

Owned by Roland Woerner and Steve Lange, Make Fresh Productions is a Los Angeles based Production Company most known for their production of the popular show “TechKnow” on Al Jazeera America. TeckKnow is a thirty-minute program that revolves around innovations in the world of science and technology. After a 72 episode run on Al Jareeza America, Al Jazeera English has since ordered 24 additional episodes from the Make Fresh team.

Make Fresh Productions was approached by the Young Turks to produce the twelve-episode live show for Fusion TV and turned to BC Live Productions for their expertise in live broadcast. Being a full service production company that focuses on Live Web Streaming, this made BC Live an excellent candidate to direct and facilitate the technical aspects of the program.

A unique aspect of a weekly traveling show is that each location presents a new set of challenges. While we have maintained a routine with the series, it does require the work of a strong team to facilitate the show requirements and maintain the show look for each new set. We could not have accomplished this without the entire Make Fresh team and producers John O’ Leary and Suzanne Zionts.

Join hosts Ana Kasparian and John Iadarola as they dive into political commentary about varying news genres, with new and exciting guests every week.
